The Israeli army opened fire on protesters in Erez: 2 injured. 50 youths arrested threw stones at the crossing.
Today, 50 000, including many adults and children besieged Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, have formed a human chain that is stretched to 41 km from north to south to protest against the embargo and the closure of the crossings.
The event was organized by the Popular Committee Against the Siege of Gaza.
A hundred kids came off the production line and headed toward the Erez crossing, where they threw stones at Israeli soldiers, who, as usual, fired live bullets and tear gas. 50 were seized.
The event was attended by citizens, associations, schools, ministries and universities.
This evening, Palestinian medical sources reported that two Palestinian citizens were wounded by bullets fired by Israeli forces near Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza Strip.
Dr. Mu'awiya Hassanien, director of emergency services, told the correspondent that Infopal.it occupation forces stationed at the crossing of Beit Hanoun "Erez", opened fire against the demonstrators injuring two people.
The wounded were transferred to Kamal Odwan hospital in northern Gaza Strip.
