What you see below are the tables of "balance" with which I Francesco Savino, Adriana Cups and Dario Marzadori we attended the "Lucca Project Contest 2010."
We did not win but they gave us the "special mention", in other words we are not the first but the judges liked our work.
Now we just have to do is use the opportunity and try to sell the project to some editors ... hopefully good.
This year I was in Lucca, but unlike last year, I went there with my book in my hands, hoping to find a shred of editor that I uphold in his arms.
I attended the "comics project contest" and I would say that it did not go badly, they gave me the first mention, I put in the contents of the portfolio. (The best)
I learned a lot about this job these days, now I know what editors want from me and especially now I know how to improve my book, I hope that next year I'll be there behind the table to draw some publishing house , also because I can assure you that walking in the midst of thousands of people in the rain with the book in your hands is not easy.
course I'm not saying it's easier to draw for hours behind a booth, but there is a difference ...
