The spirit has the same perceptions of the body, as long as it is, but we are not able to have consciousness because we are very used to living the "material" and very little spirit.
If we started to get used to the idea that every little movement of our body and every little sensation is implemented at both the material as a spiritual level, then we could slowly sharpen our ability to perceive our lives spiritually.
